No you don't understand, the major sites will not review (and mags) games without manuals.

A lot of sites will also reem any game that doesn't have the latest graphics, the hippest publisher that hands out the most candy to them, and so on. I wouldn't be too concerned about sites that get iffy on a game without a printed manual. In fact, you're probably better off if those sites don't review the game.

No, I do understand. My point was that most of those sites/magazines don't give independent developers/publishers a fair shake anyway.

Hiya,
I have used Stategic Plus Software a few times to buy imported US games, and they are very reliable if anyone was thinking of using them. You should be warned though, that you wont actualy be saving any money by buying from them.
StarFury for example costs £41 ($65), which is even more expensive than buying it direct from Shrapnel, so if you a looking for ways to get the game cheaper, you should probably try somewhere else
