Default These Bizarre Things

I have notice these bizarre things lately:

- I had a battle in a province with an enemy dominion of minus 3, and I had GoH up. I had some Black Hunters route, so I started clicking on some of them just to see if/how much damage they took. One didnt route, it ran all the way to the rear and engaged the enemy; I clicked on him about 8 times while he advanced; he started out with 13 hp (basic 13, current 13); about halfway across the field, he had 18, and when he reached the enemy, he had 23.
This is not due to lifedraining or other magic, it is (I think) purely due to GoH -- which is odd, I shouldn't get any bonus for being in the enemy dominion, but I think the game calculates whether you are going to win the battle or not. (Like: You can often see a pretender's HPs fluctuate during the course of a battle, depending on dominion and who is winning.) At least that is what it looks like.

- I have seen a number of troops with morale 50 "route" in battle -- or what looks like it. I could not see any flying or summoned enemy units near my back, but I had a whole herd of Vine Ogres and Longdead Horsemen who were scripted to (hold and) attack rearmost run backwards after advancing a bit; I could not see if they left the battlefield, since the battle ended before they reached the back, but I have no explanation for this.

- I have had at least 3 battles after which routed units end up in non-adjacent provinces. I checked the map files to make sure, and they are certainly not neighbors. For what it is worth, the units were all non-flying infantry types.

It probably wasn't a rout. An enemy flyer, or summon must have gotten in your rear, or maybe a trooper of yours got charmed/bound/enslaved... or even a summon of yours could have become a threat - horrors do, sometimes.

Theoretically, troops can take part in two battles per turn, and rout from both.
