more importantly, does it mean we can get turns done faster than every 47.86 hours.
 *sigh*

I know we're on hold for easter, but it would've been nice to have a new turn to muse over while we're on hold. wishful thinking.

every game i am in seems like at least one player vanishes or is continuously last and i tell myself i am going to try to some how establish a league of fairly reliable, relatively quick players.

I've been pondering the merits of trying to get a 24-hour hosting game that doesn't delay - for anything. You get sick? Find a sub or stale your turn.
Harsh, but I wonder if people would be up for it.

Sorry for the complete tangent there.

Re: Alexandria - battle for balanced glory [closed
it isn't an issue of spot delays.
it is an issue that this game has been on a 48 hour timer since something like turn 5.

it is an issue that the culprit of this delay was none other than the host and admin, who had set a ground rule (check post one) of 24 hour timer for first 20 turns.

it is an issue that this person has consistently been the SOLE reason of delay.

it is an issue that this person used their host/admin privlege to adjust the timing of the game to their own whims (that is, bump up to a 48 hour timer without ever having consulted anybody else in the game)

it is an issue that all this behavior, taken together, is simply rude and inconsiderate.

sorry Zeldor. but that's all been on my chest for some time now. had to mention it all; it's better for the long run. nothing personal.
