It is a little different from the old forums in that you have to click on the little down arrow next to the thread title to go to the first unread post. If you click on the thread title itself you will be taken to the first post of the first page.

You could also use the favicon on the home page of the site. It looks better than the Window$ logo IMHO

Re: Official Complaints/Concerns/Opinions
First off I love the renovations.
I was wondering if the quote icons beside the sub-forms could be made more visiable in regards to the red and green used to show if there are new posts, even a red/green ball like the Forum marker is, would be fine.
Or maybe I'm going colour blind!!!
Thanks in advance, Bob out

Re: Official Complaints/Concerns/Opinions
Actually this was already requested by one of our devs and I changed them today, just a little bit ago in fact I was working on them so I don't know if you saw them in mid-change. It seems the default ones had very little difference in color between old and new post indicators. I just scaled down the ones we use for the main forums to replace them so it should be much easier to see the difference now.

I don't know if it's permitted to hug you without calling down Wrath of Richard, but you deserve one for this change! It makes life soooo much easier here!

Re: Official Complaints/Concerns/Opinions
Yeah the colors on the default ones were so muted, especially on the background it sits on, that it was practically impossible to see the difference if you weren't really looking hard. I've been meaning to change them but they were a little lower priority. We're close to being done with all these lingering things that needed changed though.

Re: Official Complaints/Concerns/Opinions
I am unable to see in the Pages X of Y where I am and what can be clicked:
It looks like this:
Page 10 of 10 « First < 8 9 10
The Page x of Y is nice, but I hardly worry about it since it won't do anything if I click on it. What I'm interested in are the figures and arrows on which I can click:
The figures in plain text are those I can click to move around. That's counter intuitive, since usually links used to be blue with an underline, now they tend to look like anything but plain text. Here, they are plain text. The only figure on which clicking won't do anything is very hard to make out as it really looks like the others. It's blue (old brain cells equate this to: it is a link, except it's not), and may be bold but I'm not sure. Anyway, it's extremely hard to make a difference between the figures that I can click and the one which I cannot.
Therefore, I'd like to suggest at least inverting the colors: Make the figure you can't click plain text, and make the other figures and '<' blue underlined (or bold or something that stands out).

Re: Official Complaints/Concerns/Opinions
Is it possible to search PMs? This would be a very useful feature for me. For example, I was just eliminated from the game Veritas, and I would like to be able to search through all my PMs, find the ones that mention Veritas, and then delete them.

I don't know of a way to search pm's without downloading them to a .txt file first. For avoiding the problem in the future, though, you could use the folders feature and assign your pm's to specific folders as you receive them.
