Mephisto or Tesco, or whoever is running the game on PBW. If you don't want people to keep trying to join the game you can simply set the max number of players to 8, or whatever the current number of players is at. This will prevent people from attempting to apply. It will not even show in the open game list then.

By the way, you all realize your happy little thread here is pushing 1200 Posts? This is practically it's own forum.

Geo, doesn't that cause a problem when you try to change the number of players again? Or am I remembering something else? ISTR something about having to kick somebody before you could increase the maximum again.

I have in the description that it is a private game. And no one has joined since then.

I have booted 8 people.

Just waiting for 2 more to join.... When ever that is .......

Tigga the game cannot be a bash game without you.

Um, It cannot be the Gallactic Bash with out Tigga and Gryphin , It was I who threw down the gaunlet. I will sign up to save others from doing so. I will not play if Tigga does not sign up.

Ok, I misunderstood. I thought you were saying everybody was in the game that was going to join and you were just waiting on empires to be uploaded.

Yes there is a problem with PBW whereby once the max number is reached you can't increase it without kicking a person and having them rejoin. In that case you could simply assign GT or whoever you are waiting on fill to the open spots and then if they decide before the game starts not to play boot them and change the max number down.

Or you can just keep kicking people that don't read the game description thourogly.

Hey just a short note here, I joined the IRC SE4 Chat thru Trillian, it is neat to talk with everyone from se4 who is on there. Tesco, Fyron, Capt Kwok, SJ and ZeroAdun have been chatting, why don't the rest of you hook up?? Fyron could walk you thru it, usually in the evening when the forum has died down, if you hook up, Tesco will buy the wine and put it on his tab
