Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Well, hang in there folks. I guess we will host on Monday, and then go back to 48 hour host. Hopefully, at some point, Lokean gets back online and can give me the right password to admin the game.

It looks that way. The game will host on Monday and run on auto-pilot (so to speak) hosting every 48 hours till either Lokean returns, or someone (such as Llamabeast) can reset or change the admin password. I've been putting off getting into another game as yet, was hoping to play this weekend, but I guess we'll have to wait.

OK. We're back folks. 48 hour host from now on I guess. Please don't ask for any admin stuff yet though. Still don't have the password.
Good Luck!

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Llamabeast has given me a new password. So I can now actually admin the game.
Good luck everyone. It appears my armies are almost unstoppable, though I am woefully behind on research. Need to rectify that.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Well, Shin has staled six times in a row now, and R'lyeh 7 times in a row. I'm afraid I am going to have to set them to AI, unless someone can find a sub in a hurry. Playerless nations just staling every turn are too easy for their neighbors to wipe out, and gain an unfair advantage.
If someone can find subs for them before the next turn, then I will hold off.
Ulm also staled last turn, but has been getting turns in regularly before that, so I'll let them go on.

This game is shedding players like mad. We are practically down to 4 players on a 300 province map. Need to find out who is still active.
It might be worth trying to find a sub for R'lyeh, as he's not too far behind in terms of provinces at 20. I for one am in no rush. I say give it two or three turns before dropping R'lyeh, find out whether Ulm's still in or not, post a request as the admin for a sub for R'lyeh, if not found, I'll take care of the pesky pretender and you can switch em to AI.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
I am playing Ermor and am still here. I have 40+ territories all indies. Until this turn the only non indi nation I have met is Vanheim. It has been less of a challenge then single player so far. My hope is that it will become more interesting in a few more turns.

OK. I will post for a sub for R'lyeh (though I don't think we'll get one), and set Shin to AI.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Actually, can't set Shin to AI. Apparently, I need someone not in the game to do so.
I'll see who I can find someone to do so.
Man, that is annoying. Anyway to fix this Llamma?
