Re: BSoD (Newbie, LA, CBM 1.92) [Started!]
In the few MP games I've done before, all NAPs were conducted in the fashion that we have given you (attack orders sent on turn 15+x, provided you also sent the notice of cancellation on turn 15). So an NAP-0 (an NAP with no cancellation period) would thus have no warning from time of cancellation to time of attack, whilst an NAP-1 would give the defender 1 turn of warning, so on and so forth.
Think of it this way. A cancellation period is how much time and warning a player gets that they're going to be attacked. With no cancellation period, the attack is effectively unannounced. With a 1 turn/month period, the person gets 1 turns worth of warning.

I wont be able to play today, thus I would like to request a turn extension until Thursday, 2 pm (gmt+1).

Ofc!
EDIT: Ah damnit, you meant this turn. Sorry, was unable to access internets until now (since I had to go on a <10 hour car ride to South Carolina ( ). To keep this from happening again, I've changed the turn intervals to 36 hours now. If you don't think you can get the turn in on time, PM me ASAP! Stales make everyone sad. Also, would someone else like to help in hosting (an extra pair of eyes to prevent stales/make extensions)?

I check these boards fairly frequently, so I'd volunteer to help. However, I'm not sure how long I'm going to last against Patala and Atlantis. If I get blown out, I probably won't be frequenting this board quite as often.

I'd be happy to help. I'm on quite a bit during week. Weekends not so much. Next week on business trip not so much, but in general pretty good so will help if you'd like.
That was a weird post, lol.

Re: BSoD (Newbie, LA, CBM 1.92) [Started!]
Bone Daddy requires an answer to the following question:
A certain dastardly nation that will go unnamed (but whose troops enjoy long, cold walks on the beach and are exceedingly ugly) has recently, and malevolently seized one of my fortresses of peace-loving undead -- destroying all of my troops in the process. This was quite traumatic because many of those troops were still getting over their original deaths (it's hard to be undead sometimes).
Anyway, this nation is rather formidable and I'm having complications in stopping them. When you read our AAR you'll understand why, but suffice it to say they are not an undead friendly bunch.
They are quite close to our capital, but fortunately, the all-knowing and all-powerful Bone Daddy has a brilliant plan: He's going to send waves of attacks at the occupied fortress from every direction to force these amphibians into smaller contingents if they have any hope to advance. This will, hopefully, make them more bite-sized and complicate their supply situation, but we're not sure if this violates any game rules since it can be construed as a type of blocking, albeit conditional blocking. Is this a legitimate tactic?

Is it legitimate?
Yes.
No real rules barring economic trades, after all. And it's a valid strategy.

Yeah, it's going to hurt me badly. Not because of final outcome of war - Ermor is having too many problems right now but because of my mistakes and inaccurate analysis of capabilities of defending forces. Let's just say that I really hoped for a blitzkreig. Witch major phase was going to end in 2-3 turns.
Nevertheless, the chance to intercept is lesser than 100%.
So, let's rock.
[/OOC off]
You puny strategy won't stop my holy crusaders. Ashes to ashes, bones to bones, Dust To Dust. My heroes already entered the Hall of Fame for their glory is eternal.
