Re: Not Quite THAT Poor!!
what? I didn't forget. Those were part of the "god-knows-what-else."
and although thimbles full of SAE-30 usually isnt that expensive, this is a bar! they had to send a courrier out to an auto shop to pick up a few quarts of it for the robots! Think of the delivery charges!
Hey, wait a minute.. they didnt go to an autoshop! What's that guy doing with a syphon by my spaceship? HEY! STOP THAT!

Re: Not Quite THAT Poor!!
This is dangerous you know. Quite a few of the bizzare crimes against man and god we call troops are horribly unstable normally. Mixing them with alcohol... Who know's what could happen?

Re: Not Quite THAT Poor!!
Robots self-destruct when exposed to alcohol... Which can be a bad thing, considering they usually have a fusion power drive.

Re: Not Quite THAT Poor!!
I was more worried by bizzare mutations and drunken rages. I'd overlooked the explosive possibilites. This is worse than I feared!

... and then the Turambar stumbles through the wormhole next to the bar clenching his gut, trips on his own damn oversized scabbard, smacks his head on the footrail of the bar, rolls onto his back...
and mumbles something about antacid... and then passes out.
The smell of an ocean breeze and coconut vapours waft through the wormhole behind him...
aka "bump"

Through the very same wormhole pops a rather large coconut, landing directly on Turin's left knee-cap. That oughta wake you up... If not, there's plenty more coconuts!

Agent Zero wanders in, bangs his head on the 'Mind Your Head' sign, slips on a coconut and lands on Turin.
Well, now that's not something that happens every day, now is it? Pint please!
