Re: TigerCat - new MA game (recruiting)
Skaven brings news from the war-ravaged East:
Buzzard still lives! The great Dragon fought valiantly deep in enemy territory. Down to 12HP. Regenerate. Down to 12HP again. Regenerate. Down to 9HP ... ... regenerate ... and victory!
The Crack Censor Bearer suicide squad fights on too, though its numbers slowly dwindle. They've got the highest ratio of afflictions to warriors ever seen outside the lands of Formoria.

Ocean nibblers
Death rains from the sky on Ulm's infantry. The great Buzzard, though a wee bit crippled, limping, and weakened, cannot be stopped. Skaven Special Forces reports yet more success in taking control of another province in the Ulm heartland. The heroine of Ulm flees in terror from the mighty Skaven ratlings.
But sadly, Skaven High Command was having too much fun planning their battles, and diplomacy was neglected. Now there are strange fish-men frolicking in the forests of the west! Begone from our lands, fish-men! Skaven is a land of death and misery and sad poems. It is no place for dancing with wolves.

Re: Ocean nibblers
Brave Ulmish troops falling in battle, buying time for reinforcements from the sea to emerge!
A dramatic retreat from the Skaven capital as darkness falls from above. Alas, the Grey Seers are powerful and will not be beaten easily. But have faith, as I write this hundreds upon hundreds of heavily armored troops leave the castles of Ulm to keep the fight strong. We will not be beaten. Skaven is trapped in his dark keep and money should be short. Victory is near.
A toast to you brave ally!
And remember this rats of Skaven:
We will fight you on the beaches, in the forests, on the fields, and in your dark infested holes. We will fight you!

Looks like BigAndScary has not yet returned to Dominions, after wherever it was he went on the weekend.
Hope he doesn't stale 3 in a row.
Not that it matters a lot to the long term plans of Skaven, since that mostly involves lots of diggings of burial mounds, writings of wills, and recitings of last rites.

Re: TC
I noticed that as well. But I don't really want to delay the game more than we have and at the rate Abysia is taking his provinces I'm not sure it's worth trying to find a sub.
I guess if he stales again we could turn him AI.

Re: TC
I agree. Playing through the last gasps of a dying nation can be pretty fun when it's the one you started with, but it's pretty meaningless for a sub.

Re: TC
Yes, playing through a dying nation can be fun. In the Epic Heroes II game I've spent about 30 turns dying a slow death (my opponent was too distracted with other wars to be able to finish me off). It certainly makes game management easy when you've only got a dozen provinces to worry about at turn 60.
I'll be sorry to see Skaven go. Your posts have been enjoyable. I particularly liked "A Canticle for Chitterfang."

Re: TC
T'ien Ch'i has now staled the last three turns. Any objections to me asking llamabeast to set him AI?
