Soryy Mumb... I mean sorry mate, I just forget the correct spelling, and when I read the forums I have to have a way of pronouncing each name in my head, and yours comes out as Mumbles. I'll keep it to my own head.
Where does your nick come from anyway?

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
Well, Stone Mill.. I spent a bit of time and built this new avatar pic from scratch. The only thing in the pic that isn't original is a reduced image is the barren wasteland for the underlayer. It was kind of fun, like oil painting on the head of a thimble. I really like the final result, the Old mill with its tattered wind catchers and crumbled stone look came off prety well.

Let me know what you think, Cheers!

If I am not mistaken it stands for "Mom Loves Me Best Dude". I just remember that from when he was explaining what it meant. Where it came from I do not know.

I posted the meaning behind it somewhere. Just can't remember where. So, I won't bore you with the entire explanation, It came the "Smothers Brrothers". Tommy Smothers was always saying to his brother (Dick), "Dicky, Mom Always Loved you best". In there act is was really very funny! So, "mlmbd" is an ajustment of that quote; "Mom Loves Me Best, Dude". Ok so there you have it!
rags, Thanks!

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
BTW mlmbd, did you not like my glossy polish of your avatar? It was posted way back on page 11! (or 12 or 13.. if you wait a few minutes!lol) But here it is again for quick reference.

I was surprised that you didn't grab it, because it's basically the same one you're using now!
..speaking of how to remember/pronounce your handle 'mlmbd', well when I say 'mlm' it rings like Millenium in my mind and when I say 'bd' it makes me think of 'buddy' so in my minds eye you're the 'Millenium Buddy' or Mlmbd for short!
Cheers!

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
David, it is fine. It is the stock avatar I selected when I joined the forums. I have been working, off and on, on an custom avatar! But, Thanks!
No offence!
and 'Millenium Buddy' has a nice ring to it.
