Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
ok I finaly surenderd.
thanks to Phoenix-D for the great game.
conclusions:
although I got lucky with the placement and had over 2/3rds of the galaxy, phoenix was compensated by haveing way more mineral planets.
I got to confedent that I was winning, till phoenex sent fleets of 30+ ships with minesweepers through all 4 of my defended warppoints all within 3 months...
I should not have gone for drones, it was a waste of time.
I need to lower my organics and rad raceial traits and increace maint and mineral ext.
build enough minesweepers damnit!!!!
missiles ships are probibly not the greatest for defending warp points...
alright!
pair me up again Asmala!

Good game se5a. I thought I was screwed for a while, especially when you pushed me out of Iolo (one system from my HW; we started pretty close)

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
No ancient is NOT koth standard. But it's fairly common. And some have suggested it be adopted as a standard setting. As far as I know Asmala has not done that, I know I did not before him.

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
As Geoschmo said ancient trait isn't Banned in KOTH standard settigs. But no ruins is default.
