20 is the max. I don't know how the game could've been set to 32 because it just isn't possible. The game itself wasn't set for 32. It was the setting on a PBW game I saw (one that hadn't started yet). Maybe he just set it like that so he'd have a few extra spaces for people to apply. Dunno

Ohh ok, I see. I didn't know you could set it that high on PBW; I figured they had programmed it in to not accept anything over 20. But anyway, I guess they didn't and so you can set that part as high as you want. But when you go to set the game up you can only add 20 of those empires.

Re: New PBW game for newbies
oups, missed my empire upload : didn't manage to link to the correct shipset file. (that's the kind of pb that can occur while playing with newbies... )
So here is the link :
http://seiv.pbw.cc/Download/filelib/...hip+2+beta.zip
If I had a suggestion : avoid "Last man standing" victory condition : it's not realistic :why allies from the first hour should fight against each over to win in the end ?

Okay, Tesco I added that suggestion to the PBW forum for everyone to discuss (along with a couple others.) Also, trooper, you might want to post that link there, too.

Re: New PBW game for newbies
Last call for players. We may only wait for a couple more before we begin and, since almost everyone in the game is a newbie of one degree or another, the Last few slots are open to anyone wanting a good game!

Re: New PBW game for newbies
I am headed on an extended vacation starting this Tuesday, July 1st and Lasting two weeks.
Since I don't want to either slow down the game as it starts or miss a lot of initial turns. It might be best if I just withdraw from this game right now before it really starts. That way a volunteer can play from beginning to end. It is a shame, because I think this game is going to be a lot of fun.
I am posting this in hopes that someone will volunteer as a quick replacement. This game is just about to start (again)! Anyone interested?

Re: New PBW game for newbies
Cybersol, you dont want to just find someone to cover for you? 2 weeks should only be a few turns given so many players.
