That sort of thing.

How exactly do you bribe a Borg drone? ;-) How do you have someone infiltrate the collective without becoming subjected to its will?

I'm sure there are other examples of races like this.

I think being able to turn off intel for a race would be an interesting trait. Imagine the research you can do if you don't have to build any intel centers or do any of that research...

You can also include things like listening Posts which can be on a "frieghter", that picks up enemy broadcasts in a system. That would allow you to find out details of ships etc.
It does not have to be a guy like James Bond cracking open a safe.

Ahh, yes. Intel. In my opinion there should be some pre-game options for intel, like there are for research. Have the ability to turn off certain intel operations without banning the whole intel tech tree.

My main and favorite thought though is an option to make such things a crew insurrections and PPP, and other high up on the intel tree ops a little harder. For example, you must be able to see the ship to take it over with crew insurrections.

Maybe have the game factor in other things like experience. The more experienced the less likely the crew insurrection is to succede (sp?).

Pretty much my gripe here is lack of intel options. I'd like to see some more.
