Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
Two spots are still open, the Cluk-Ruk and the Kotosians. Both of them seem to be doing rather well, and you still have many opportunities to catch up with the other Empires. The Cluk-Ruk has been under AI control for a few turns, while the Kotosians have had an AI under autopilot for fifteen turns or so.
The Weyrlings are also available, but they have had no stable player since the beginning of the game (with the exception of Ruatha, who made a turn for this Empire from time to time). I wouldn't expect them to be in a great shape by this, and the fact that I have yet to make contact with them doesn't bode well either.

And now the f**king AI declared war to almost everybody.
So I you are at war with me now please wait (do not attack, sign of oner)and let's sign the earlier treaty again, ASAP.

Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
Remember to always go into Empire Status (the F11 key) and into Ministers in there, and then click "AI should not make any changes in a simultaineous game". It is very improtant.

The new gods request this thread to be placed at the top of the (non-permanent) thread list for easier review of the rules.
Wow! It is. What a miracle!

Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
Is it legal for an ancient to build sphere/ringworlds for some minor allies? And if so, can we gift the components to the minor so they can generate the sphereworld for themselves so it will have their atmosphere type??

Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
You can build the worlds, but you can't gift any ships, bases, planets, resources, or anything at all.
[edit: you can't trade them either.]

Thanks for answering L, that's correct.
An addendum to the rules;
If any ancient invades the first ones system, or after turn 80 any other ancients system, they are free at will to fire upon and attack all ships in that system, be they from a minor or whatever.
So the rules concerning any activity in ones own system is the same for the other ancients system after turn 80 and all the time in the first ones system.
I'll mail this out in a couple of days.

Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
I don't really understand this. I have people appearing in my system that I have an NA treaty with. How can I attack them? Only with other nonaligned minors, or go to war and break the treaty.
I also suspect I can not demand the surrender of a minor (even an AI one). Is this correct?
