Actually I have 4 children in all, so I know that the "holding the baby" thing isn't going to work much longer. Actually, she is starting to get active enough now that it doesn't work all that well. It was great when she was only a couple of months old and would be perfectly content lying against my shoulder.

Oh well, things will at least not be boring!

What kind of excuses do YOU use to your partner to play this FANTASTIC game?

Well I promised my wife I would take her to dinner if I win the twingalaxies tourney. That seems to have satisfied her for now. I am not sure what I am going to do after March though. I don't think "Honey, I have to be the top of the ladder!" is going to fly. laf

Great, now I'm going to feel bad if I top you and deprive your wife of dinner out. Unfair sympathy tactics, unfair I tell you!

I'm not sure if your suggestions will work in my circumstances. Your excuses are more or less related to children. I have only a very demanding wife. I have to admit it's even more difficult for me to find excuses WHEN I don't play the game but in stead review this board

AND, by the way, WHO decides our ranking on this board? Private First Class ??? Reminds me of the old Commodore 64 games. Do you believe I started the computer age in 1981 with a "computer" called ZX 81 made by Sinclair (UK) with 1 KB memory onboard?
Now I'm used to my Dell Pentium III, 512 MB internal memory, 30 GB Harddisk, DVD Rom, 32 MB Video memory board etc. Where have all the good old days gone, when everything was depending on NOT to touch your computer to avoid a breakdown??
