Re: Screen Shots - What I Use
The way I do it is the following:
!. I close all programs and start hypersnap. I minimize it but keep it open. Besure that scroll lock is off and num lock is off. If you use ICQ, you must also shut it down. It interferes with Hypersnap.
2. I start the game and depending when amd where I want to take the screen shot, I pause the game and then I minimize it, by pressing the scroll lock button. You can also put it in windowed mode too. THat is so you can see Hypersnap and the picture you have taken.
3. I then maximize Hypersnap and look at my picture. If I like it, I crop or make whatever changes I wish and then save it as a jpg file.
4. If I intend to take more, I keep hypersnap open and follow the same process.
This works best for me, Don.

Re: Screen Shots - What I Use
Ah, now I understand the question Don was asking. Did I take a picture of the entire map? No, it won't quite fit, unless I use a smaller map setting. I haven't tested but I think it would have to be around 50x50 to get the entire map in one shot, reducing it of course to a smaller zoom level.

I haven't tried to do it in Windowed Mode but in Full Screen Mode it definately works.

That's what I was asking. If it was taken while the game was running in full screen mode.

No Bill. I was asking you if you were running the GAME in full screen mode or windowed mode when you took the screen shot.
WinSPMBT can run as a fullscreen application or windowed application. The default mode is fullscreen when you start up the game from GameOptions but you can select it to run as a windowed application as well.
We had only been able to get screen shots in windowed mode before this. I was asking you to confirm that these shots were taken while the game was running in full screen mode

Re: Screen Shots - What I Use
Okay. Thanks for clarifying. Full screen, Don. Hypersnap is running in the background. Only two programs running, Hypersnap and SPMBT.
I press scroll/lock, minimize SPMBT and call up hypersnap. My picture is there.
So yes, full screen mode.

Just curious, how do you minimize WinSPMBT while it's running fullscreen? I could do it repeatedly with the DOS version by pressing my windows start key but that doesn't work for me WinSPMBT ( but I was one of the few who could get away with that trick in DOS over and over )

Re: Screen Shots - What I Use
The Windows key works for me (the one between ctrl and alt with the picture)
BTW Window key + m minimizes all windows open. Great for at work when the boss walks in.

Yep. That's the exact key I use to be able to use to minimize the DOS game. If almost anyone else tried it they crashed their machine. For me it worked 100% every time. It does diddly for me with WinSPMBT set to full screen. I can press it all I want and not a thing happens
