Re: I love Bogus
I don't need boots of quickness, since Jotun Scouts are SACRED, and I got a Water9/Nature9 bless strategy in that game...

Ever seen Bogus accompanied by hundreds of troops?

Re: I love Bogus
What's the big deal with the Greenstone armor? Its stats don't look that great. In fact, I usually throw it away if all my melee commanders have body armor on.

Re: I love Bogus
I should have sceencapped this, but...
I'm playing Early Arco (I love that Golden Age!)
I see an army of amazon, usual flying horses and that sorta nonsense, so I go to invade.
Turns out the flying horses include a Dark Knight, because my scouts failed to report that Bogus and Crew were there.
Greeeat.
So, I decide to give the place a pass, and go after easier enemeies. I plan to go back...and then notice that some Troglydytes have shown up.
Wonderful.
Ok, going to attack it later still-
And then the Fort-motte-and-bailey goes up.
I suspect that had I looked more closely, there probably would have been Barbarbians and Knights as well.

The water 9 blessing stacks (multiplicatively) with quickness from the spell, boots, or jade armour, so he would act even more with both of them.

Fine, then just send a lone commander (Scout, Priest, whatever) to capture the province and siege them out. If there are so many troops in there, they'll just starve if you give them enough time for it (Bogus and friends won't starve, but they're not that nasty all by themselves).
Plus, while you're waiting, YOU are getting the revenue from the province.

There is one, both from the GUI and the commandline.

I can't understand this desire for Dominions, since order/turmoil and luck/misfortune dominions are core game concepts and major strategic choices.

Re: I love Bogus
AFAIK, independents don't ever eat so the single-scout siege can never take the castle.

Re: I love Bogus
Honestly, in single player I kinda like leaving weird provinces like that around. Gives the game more personality once it begins to wind down.

Eh, I've gotten Greenstone armor before and thought it sucked - decent protection, but very high fatigue. There something the stats and description didn't say about it?
