Nine. Although not all of them are the same size -- one immortal head, four great, four lesser IIRC.
Nine head slots would be... interesting. Amon-Hotep, starshine, wraith crown, six spirit helms?

Or Starshine, Amon-Hotep, Starshine, Wraith Crown, Starshine, Dragon Helmet, Starshine, Dragon Helmet, Starshine, for 100 % fire res and +8 mr more than with the spirit helmets. |
