Resource bug
I looked at the turns sent by Shmonk. He definitely cannot use all the available resources in his capitol.
My preliminary conclusion is that it is caused by the new statement added to Version 5.2:
#resourcemult 120
This seems to be reducing the usable resources by 20% (when you have sloth?). Perhaps this was intended, perhaps not. However, even if intended, it does seems problematic (or even annoying) when you don't have all the resources displayed availble to actually recruit.
This seems even worse than the problem of having to keep track of resources used for the guy in the queue under any game version...

Re: Resource bug
Well, I think I'm fine playing with this as is. It is the first game I've played with CB 5.2, and also the first time I took some sloth. I guess other people using 5.2 have seen this though or have heard of it, so it's not that big a deal (though a little annoying). Knowing the calculation issue should help me better calculate the actual resources I can use for recruiting each turn.
Thanks for looking into it Panther.

Re: Resource bug
Phew that was a wicked turn. Almost lost my pretender. He was down to 23 health...no Afflications to boot! Guess the luck gods haven't totally abandoned me for taking misfortune.
Ran into some new friends along my borders. Hey you two (you know who you are).

Yes, I have been aware of the issue with the command since the problem cropped up in a blitz shortly after 5.2's release. The line, if it worked properly, would have increased the amount of resources available globally by 20%. Unfortunately, the modding command itself apears to be bugged and so will have to be removed next version.

Re: Resource bug
"A fire has destroyed the arcane laboratory." - what a nice result, there go 200 GCs and some research.
Ok, I know most of my neighbors now. Hello Man, Mictlan, Tien Chi, C'tis and Pangea. No much space left - lets go for 98 next (just as a warning to Pangea).
Peace and harmony from Ermor; eternal peace and harmony, that is.

I\'m baaack.
Thanks to KB for taking my turns for me. My very small nation of very big people is ready to get some work done. Too bad about losing a few niefel giants, but it's all in the service of the Cause.
Cheers, thanks all, and sorry for making it that much harder to get these turns out of the way quickly.

Ah, this makes perfect sense. I thought that Schmonk's resources seemed high for taking sloth 2. Apparently, using the command will display the extra 20% resources but not allow them to actually be used. I bet it has nothing to do with taking sloth.
Too bad it does not work, for it is a good idea to add more resources globally to make high protection national troops easier to recruit, especially now that the gold cost of many has been reduced.
