Re: Another Newbie Slugfest - Closed
Tell me if you need a replacement Vanheim player to get the game going. I'll be quite busy this week but getting the first turns in should not be a problem. Next week and onwards when the action starts I'll have plenty of time.

Re: Another Newbie Slugfest - Closed
I would vote for Saeter to take Vanheim to get this game going. Krool Death has been slow in several of my other games, and has staled more than once over the past several weeks. I think he did the typical newbie mistake of playing in too many games.
Anyway, I do not know how much longer before Krool surfaces, and this game ought to get going.
Since you are host and it being your server, I would say it is your call, Grim.

Re: Another Newbie Slugfest - Closed
A PM to Krool might not have done the trick, if he is not checking often. However, I have his email from the Last game, and I just sent him an email. I would hate for him to get the boot without contacting him directly first.

So I assume the game will start after you see him upload his pretender, Grim?
It would be cool if we got to do a turn tonight =].

Re: Another Newbie Slugfest - Closed
Pretender uploaded!!!!!! Start the game when ready!
And yes, I did get into too many games I'll admit, but I'm ok. I got hurt worse by buying Rome:Total War. Been playing the series from the get go, even asked my wife to start talking in Latin, she just doesn't know any.
So I exiled her...

I got it attached in this post.
Tell me if it doesnt work.
The attachment is zens cradle map.

Just to make sure, I simply download the zip file for Zen Cradle and then unzip it to my dom2 map file. Right? I don't need to change the names of any files, do I?
Thanks.
