Re: OT:Inceribly dull!
I was in and out of hospitals most of my childhood (I am all grown up but have practically no hearing in one ear and I can't smell as well as other people because of surgery on my nose). Once I needed anesthetic and the nurse wanted to inject my backside. I was reluctant to pull down my pants and bare all so I kept asking if there wasn't another way to do it. During high school I got annoyed with another pupil and punched him. This was years before I learnt Karate, so I folded my thumb into my fist. For the rest of the day my thumb ached and started to swell. That afternoon I went to the doctor and was told I had cracked my thumb and i had to waer a splint for a few weeks. The doctor also explained to me how to punch properly.

Whoa. I thought that was just about 'instant death'.
This is when the lining of the aorta rips, without tearing open and spilling into the appropriate cavity, and the vessel swells up like a ballon. And then it does rip.
Is it not?

Is it not? Yep, it was a ruptured aorta, bleeds into the thoracic cavity, but he still lives. (quite a surprise to us aswell, we didn't think it would be bleeding/ruptured, just enlarged and ruptures in the internal vessel wall)
Now home to bed. se Ya.

Is it not? Sounds like what killed John Ritter.
