Re: Radiance – Random Nations, Middle Era (Signup)
I've put a slight delay on this game for my own turn. Should have it done by tomorrow!

lol... well considering I'd give anyone who asked for an extension one in this game (and have in the past) I don't think I'm conflicting too much interest.

Surrender of Pythium and Marignon
I, along with Marignon are tendering our surrender to the powers that be (Marignon can confirm with a separate post). We have been discussing our lack of enthusiasm and our diminishing chances of winning between ourselves since AC went up and AN got overwritten.
We could keep going attempting to get AN back but my heart isn't in it - and our shot isn't that great.
Congrats to Caleum, Oceania and Pangaea and good luck to Arco!
Most fun:
#1 Sending all of my armies out to the oceans once UD showed up to die. Just cause.
#2 Mind Controlling the Lich that cast Utterdark from Caelum, giving him gift of reason and using him to summon lots of Tartians (I had horrible magic diversity).
Learned a WHOLE lot from the late game here. Very edjumcating and humbling.
Now don't be pussies... Fight it out amongst yourselves!

lol )))))
Marignon switched to AI - congratulations!!!!!
Yes, it was a good lesson of good gaming.
First time playing so long... Bloody nations are the best in long lasting games I belive. They need a lot of managment but it is worth....
So - are you fighting each other now?

Re: Surrender of Pythium and Marignon
This is the ruler of Oceania, speaking on behalf of Caelum-Oceania-Pangea alliance. We accept the surrender of Pyhtium and Marignon and call upon Arcoscephale to follow with their surrender. Substantial their army may be, they won't stand against concerted attack of three powers.
The three of us don't wish to duke it out till the bitter end as that seems extremely tedious.
I think games that large need a more achievable victory condition set.
We're waiting for Arco's answer, for now a lot of thanks to Velusion for hosting and all players for good play!

As far as I am concerned there can be only one victor. Alliance victories were never part of the victory conditions, and if they were I'm sure many of would have been playing differently from the start.
I will also say that there are many other large games out there that manage to have a clear cut victor... for example:

Do as you like though... I'll just consider this game unfinished with no winner if it ends here.

Re: Surrender of Pythium and Marignon
The lack of VP makes having a clear victor in this game a tedious time consuming nightmare. I think I'd rather leave it as a tie between Oceania, Caelum and Pangaea and save a ton of time in the process.
