Hi:
All players should send me their pretenders by Monday night. It will be a .2h file (which stands for "to host"). After you create your pretender, you can find the file in the "newlords" folder that is in the "saved games" folder.
Please password protect your pretenders so that I don't accidentally open your turns during the game.
My email: whscom {a t] maine [do t] rr [d o t] com
Please also send me your email addresses as soon as you can so I can compile a mailing list for the game.
Thanks.
Pasha

Re: Send Pretenders
Will try to get a SP Sauro-testgame in till Monday. Since I haven't played Sauro yet I have no idea what to take for a pretender and no clue about a strategy

Re: Send Pretenders
There is no rush. Pretenders are due on Monday. So, it is fine to test things out. Also, players who have already sent pretenders are welcome to send revised versions.

Observe my blunders as Sauro in our other game.
Think of something different to do and things will be just fine!

Re: Send Pretenders
Well, tell me about your blumders since I have not been able to see them (IIRC you are 2nd in provinces, 1st in gems, decent army, decent income...).

Patch?
Apparently there is a bug with the patch that makes a nasty horror attack heroes who are not horror marked. This could be quite problematic and frustrating. Perhaps, we should not use the patch in this game until it is fixed.
See: http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/thr...b=5&o=&fpart=1
However, this would mean that players might need to have 2 versions of Dom3 on their computers, if they wanted the patch in other games.
What do players think?

Re: Patch?
I have both versions, so ok with either.
Nasty horror's attacking would make the game even more exciting.
All the other MP games have patched, so we could have interesting times...

Re: Patch?
I'll be making my pretender only after the decision, that's for sure I'd say we might as well wait until the next patch, and play unpatched until then: the real big problems of the unpatched game are high up the research tree, I understand, so it will do less damage than the evil horror attacks unless the next patch will only come after a looong while.
