you are still most likely right about me watching to much sci-fi. Galactic Heros was an animated TV serise that ran in the 70s, if i recall correctly. you might be able to find episodes at comic stores or anime clubs. Reha Gall force was a Japanese anime from the 80s. I presume you know about wing commander, and G-Police was a Playstation game that was ported to the PC. it had a intro movie featuring a cool looking warship, but in the game its self you just flew police fighters inside of a domed city.

Re: OT- Favorite Sci Fi Ship?
Yes, and it had several modular components depending on the mission. My favourite is the one for atmospheric flight, with a sharp front and a big back with huge engines. Really cool!

Re: OT- Favorite Sci Fi Ship?
My favorite Sci-Fi ship is the "Dark Star" from the John Carpenter movie. Not really because of the design, but because of the nifty bombs that it carries .

Re: OT- Favorite Sci Fi Ship?
It has to be the USS Defiant from Star Trek. Sleek, fast, handy ship designed for war - you can attack and run while the slow dreadnought attempts to catch up. Love it when the phaser bank and quantum torpedoes fire simultaneously.

I have a lot of favorite ships... For me, I look at the starship design and purpose.
From Startrek...
Enterprise-B
Enterprise-C
Enterprise-D
Constellation Class
Nebula Class
Doomsday Machine
From Starwars
Anything MonCalamari Made
Babylon 5
Earth Alliance ships
Others
Farscape shuttle is a nice development
Moya
Asguard Ships
Then, of course, my all time favorite...
UMV Monitor 396 & Dauntless 405

Re: OT- Favorite Sci Fi Ship?
I guess my favorite sci-fi ships are:
USS Defiant (Star Trek)
Nebula Class (Star Trek)
Akira Class (Star Trek)
USEA Protector (Galaxy Quest)
I'm sure there's a few more I just can't think of them right now...

Re: OT- Favorite Sci Fi Ship?
anyone ever see the old Space 2085 cartoon (from 1985)? they had some OK ships. how about the Homeworld game? I did not like their large ships very much, but their medium and small sized ones were really neat.
