True but i'm not used to such distances. Like i said, belgium is a very small country.

Oh yeah 1000 km = 621.371192237334 miles

I use Metric Converter to do these kind of conVersions. It's a very small and handy app. It converts speed, acceleration, volume,... To much to mention.

Just finished painting... except for touch-ups. Who knows when I'll get to them? Probably after the shoe molding.

We lived in here amongst boxes for quite a bit. A few of them still serve as furniture. So funny: we got a Tiffany's vase as a special present... and we'll probably put it on a cardboard box...

For travel, but not for moving the household ! You can rent a truck, load your stuff, drive to Sydney and unpack, all in 2-3 days and a cost of ~ $100. Now, move to US for example [Smile]
My family has done the big move, from London to Melbourne, Via LA airport. I was surprised they allowed us on the plane with the amount of Coats, Bags & electrical goods (2 laptops, 2 Walkmans, 2 mobiles, Portable Sterio) that we were carrying.

Of course it helped having an International Pilot as a friend, who was bringing us bags for months...

Chances are you will never get to them, because you always find another job that needs to be done first.

I claim ignorance in your question, especially if my wife is lurking.
Seriously we have never actually been on the same flight...

Well today, i was supposed to go and join the selection for the all star team we are having next saturday here in Belgium where the flemish federation plays the walloon federation (American Football).
Because of all the work, i missed this Last practice and i will not get selected for the game If i would have gone, i would have been selected because of my good season and good practice. Now i get nothing. It's sad.
This new house better be good or else !

Ha! I finally moved. Today the moving company started at 7 AM loading stuff, finished at 12.30 PM (only took them 5.30 h!!). I just finished reinstalling the closets (spelling?), bed and so on and it's only 4 PM!
I'll be playing SEIV again tonight. Woohoo.

I also had a job interview today. What a hectic day. The move and the job interview went well!
The company where i went looks very interesting AND they have a lot of vacation. 39.5 days. Can you imagine that. That's three nine point five

And as you see, my cable modem and internet are also connected again. Woohoo, bring on the neked internet ladies.

* ms minipol comes over to the computer *

Ehm, it's only a joke dear. What? That bikini model on my desktop? That was installed by a hacker, yeah, thats it, it's a hackers fault
You look nice honey
* minipol quickly puts some space between him and the misses * (read runs like hell)

Every time I move, it gets harder because I've accumulated more stuff each time. When I first moved out from Mom and Dad's house, all of my possessions fit in the car, and only one trip was necessary. I had my clothes, books, a small table, and a chair. That was it. I moved three times since then. The first time, I needed a few car trips. The second time, I needed several car trips and a van. The third time, I needed a truck. I suspect that the next time, I might need a couple of trips with a truck...
