Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
GT: King of the hill
One-on-One PBW tournament where you fight your way up the hill and the top-man becomes the king. One loss and you are down in the gutter and you have to start all over again.
See rules and current standings at:
http://seiv.pbw.cc/koth.htm
I am now next in line for an opponent at the bottom of the hill, so please join the tournament.
The primitive one would really like to add your hide to his collection. Tigerskins is just so nice in front of the fireplace.

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
2 players, small cluster (with no ruins), no mods, no holds barred.
Most games only Last for 50 - 100 turns.
And it don't take an army to skin a cat.

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
Sounds interesting? but as a newbie to playing the game, I would suspect I would be cannon-fodder very quickly....
and by the way, it does take an army when the cat in question is 7 feet tall, viscious to boot and liable to disembowel you simply for being Norwegian... and your remarks come from a man who likes to oil his muscles and wear a tight loincloth!!

Cool,
You sign up by sending a mail to Geo. Address is in his profile.
And I am a newbie myself, and still learning the ins and outs of the game/format, so this can go both ways.
And WTH is wrong with oiling up ? You should try it sometimes

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
Hmmm, I will have to think about it. I am not sure I can really dedicate the time needed to play a PBW game (I travel too much).
The other point is that I am really not sure I want to play a NOrwegian who professes to like rubbing oil on himself and also professes that he can go both ways!!

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
If a future King attempts to hold his crown by delay tactics I will simply boot him to the bottom of the hill, declare the #1 contender to be the new King and setup a match between him and the #2 contender.
A three way match would not fit the format of the KOTH league, and it wouldn't be very fair either as the contenders would be very likely I think to gang up on the King.
I don't think we will get a long list of contenders stacked up waiting to play, This is just a momentary thing I hope. But if we do I will add another level to the hill.

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
It is well known that Preacherman is on a small holiday right now... Hold your horses to the 3rd of March... Or play each other to see who should challenge KOTH...
