Grudge
Most likely you forgot to go itno the mods and turn on the CBM prior to making your Pretender.
Turn it on, and remake your pretender. I will get rid of your current pretender and roll back the turn.

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
Sorry. It looks like everyone needs to resend the pretenders to
Game: Buggy1
Sorry about that. When I rolled back the turn it deleted the game.
Guess I should have done something differently.

Heh, don't worry it'll all work out eventually.
This way I get to use a different pretender design anyway

Yeah, you wanted to "restart" the game, not roll it back. I guess I should remove the rollback option from games on turn 1. It hadn't occurred to me.
I can restore the original Buggy if you want, but it looks like you've got most of the pretenders back in anyway.

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
Ok, now that we are started I would like to know just a little about the map...What do the provinces with the Alters do?
I take it they represent the differnt schools of magic but what do they actually DO for you? More magic sites...artifacts...able to recruit magic users of that school...or are they just pretty?
BTW, its really is a very nice looking Map

Re: Buggy- LA - Llama server - Send in your Pretenders
You know I have no idea what they do.
I just thought the map looked nice, and the alters would add a touch of excitement, kind of like VP's.

the alters allow you to go to the corresponding special province at the rightmost of the map, the special node provinces from a test on 1 of the maps contain a 3 magic sites, 1 is inkpot end which will disease some troops, 1 curses troops, and another depending on which of the maps you are using, gives you gems and indie mages of that element, i'e the astral node will have an astral mage for the taking. you can then from that node move to any altar of the same element so i can see an interesting game where noone is safe against attack from anyone.
anyways control over these nodes will be paramount if you want to win, they offer gems, a gauranteed indie mage to give you more magical diversity and finally the ability to transport your armies around the map quickly.
fellow death nations(and ulm-i think they're playing) i will hint that undead won't be penalised by the disease from inkpot end so be sure to station some on your nodes. At the least i think death nations have the strategic advantage on this map just for this.
All others, nows your chance to pester pelthin to start the game again.
Edit: forgot to say no population on nodes so no food for soldiers, another reason why i think the winner will be a death nation.
