Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
Hmm, that turkey would make a good basis for a ship set.

Some of us refuse to be assimilated. Some are just rebellious. Others (like myself) are indecisive procrastinators....

i believe you are refering to the eye of splurggoth? no i dont think that where it comes from.

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
I guess evil tech eyes are everywhere . I would have sworn that spluggorth artwork was on the back cover of one of their books.
I've been waiting for "just the right" avatar. That turkey one might fit the bill . I'll have to peruse the collection again to be sure.

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
On a slightly OT note...
David, are you the David E. Gervais who made the 32x32 tileset for Angband Tk? I thought it might be just a coincidence, but then I found this Dracolich
http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/newup...1039359303.gif in the emporium!
If you're THAT David Gervais, then cyberspace really is a small world. I've been playing Zangband Tk for the Last 2 years, never suspecting that the tiles I looked at every day were made by someone on the forums.

Yes, Yes! I am THE David of *BandTK fame. Also closer to this forum, I did the graphics for Dungeon Odyssey. Check it out.
..and I agree that sometimes the net seems like a small world!
Cheers!
