A long time ago, someone (I didn't save who), did a mod of the XM-60 Silaceous Cored Armor prototype.

Recently a declassified paper on it has shown up on DTIC here:

And it includes results of test firings.

I am just curious. I lost all of my work that I have done over the years and have been trying to track some of it down that I may have posted. I have gotten most I have posted here already, but I know there are more out there. The PC and external hard drive back up I had both have failed. I don't have $1200 to get the PC hard drive and/or external hard drive repaired and data extracted from it right now. I remember I thought it was Mark that had a site that I posted on as well back in the day. That was why I was asking.

Yes I believe Mark(Sheppard) does have a site still and it is available (here:http://www.alternatewars.com/Games/SP/SPanthers.htm)

Unsure how much of the Icon database still exists - I know he was trying /thinking of resurrecting it.

The database was similar to Wikipedia. Any one could contribute. I remember seeing a Panther with a 75L100 main gun on there. It was developing nicely.

Just like if anyone can still access the old Yahoo groups, can you point me to those. I have tried what I remember and no luck logging in. I know there are icons on there too.

Yeah, I tried a wiki-based icon database for a bit -- I eventually deleted it from my website, because I didn't secure it well enough and spammers were using it to post porn and other unsavory things on it; and I went "YIKES" and nuked it.

I have a lot of stuff saved though. Let me start an Oragus thread.

About a year ago, I went on a deep trawl of the surviving Yahoo groups I had access to, and saved what I could.

SPWW2 Yahoo Group Icons available Early 2015 when I archived them attached.
