I have no problem with changing the times to accomodate new players as long as it's ok with the current group. I do try to make it challenging, but my plans always go down in flames, flames caused by an energy blast by douglas . Anyway the current mission is nearing it's end once the evil knife is cleansed, but I have plenty of ideas for what comes next.

Hey, it's not always energy blasts. There was that one time it was a puny little unaugmented level 1 spell called Grease that spelled doom for the assassins that couldn't stand up .

Seriously, IIRC an encounter of the same level as the party is supposed to take about 1/4 of the party's resources (HP, spells, etc.) to defeat when fully rested, assuming no special circumstances apply (such as the party ambushing the monsters). We've just been managing to spend nearly all of that as spells/power points most of the time. In my case, 1/4 of my daily resources is two full-strength energy blasts. It's not my fault we've been facing monsters with energy vulnerabilities that make them particularly effective.

Yeah, I do realise the problem is that they are all Ice creatures or mummies. There won't be such a problem once you leave the glacier.

So Null, if you want to join we play using OpenRPG

http://www.openrpg.com/

The day depends a bit on Fyron being able to set up a server. I've tried but never had any luck doing it myself. If there is going to be a change of time please tell me by the time I wake tomorrow so I can be ready otherwise. As an indication of the time differences I am in GMT+10.

I'd prefer friday or saturday, my 'awake' times are better then. I'm in EST, sorry for not including that. 4 to 5 PM would translate into 7 or 8 PM here, and 9 is my time to get off the computer on mondays through thursdays. That wouldn't give you much roleplaying time. Friday, however, I'm open from 3 pm till 11 PM, so you could work something out there if you can.

EDIT: Are there any rule restrictions? Like on psionics or something?

EDIT:EDIT: How much cash do I have to spend?

Anything in that time period works for me, as would Saturday, but I don't know about everyone else. Fyron in particular seemed to want to avoid Friday and Saturday back when we were starting up again after the hiatus.

We've already got an abundance of arcane casters in the party (Narf's wizard and my Psion), so if you do anything with psionics I'd recommend not doing anything more than a few psionic feats, or the Psychic Warrior or Soulknife classes at the very most. The best fit with the current party composition would be a cleric, as we have no divine caster/healer at all at the moment.

I would assume you have the amount listed in the Character Wealth by Level table for 6th level, which is 13000 gp.

Saturday I already have a roleplaying game going. Would a Sorcerer be okay? I kinda like polymorph myself

If you end up moving the game time let me know. If I can then I will re-join.

Then you might have a Cleric again ;-) well, ranger/cleric at least. Though I dont know how effective I am.

What part of "abundance of arcane casters" did you not understand? You can make a Sorcerer if you really want to, but having 3 of the 4 (5 if Rasorow rejoins) party members be focused arcane spellcasters is a bit much. Oh, and we're still two levels away from the minimum for a Sorcerer to cast Polymorph.
