Ok people, after this current turn in processed we will switch to a temporary 48hr cycle to make sure nobody stales. After that 24 hr is the cycle again.

Yeah, about that. I was up earlier than usual, so I was able to turn in my final turn this morning. I won't be able to turn in another turn till Sunday Night/Monday morning (I'm on the eastcoast, so here it will be sunday night). So, if this turn goes up quickly, I'll need the next turn extended instead of this one.

i think it most probably was needless to delay hosting until monday 10 (or at all). in my experience it most probably leads to hosting not sooner than that, and in this case tien chi's turn was already sent in.

perhaps we can switch back to hosting on sunday?

Well here is the trick;
If everyone sends in their turn, the game will process and host the next turn whenever the last player has sent in his turn.
This means the game will continue normally if we keep sending in our turns. We only have more time before the deadline kicks in and autohosting of an imcomplete turn will commence.
Regardless, I have reduced the hours to 32. And will come back to 24 hours tomorrow.
Still, to be clear, the game continues normally and as quickly as we have sent in our turns.

but here's the other trick...i think llamaserver is really struggling the last 12-24 hours. some guys turns may not have been accepted.

I have seen no issues and game report shows fine too.

ysko, just been watching the boards a bit lately and lots of games are struggling to get their turns in. llama posted that he had a lot of trouble with lost data, but had it all backed up. but even after he thought he had it squared away, their have been some problems with people getting turns in.

and i have noticed that our game is still waiting on 6 turns(including yours, i think) for 24 hours. maybe no one sent one in, but that seems unlikely. guys may have to resend their 2h files when this all gets sorted out.

then again, since i don't [i]really [I understand any of this, i could be pretty off base.
