Isle of Thrones revamp version
hi there!
i'm totally new in the world of dominions, just discovered the game a month ago.. but i was happy when i saw that it was easly modable, so i begin to make a few maps..
here is my first one..
it's a "revamp" version of ballbarian's Isle of Thrones.
a map i find very interestant strategicaly, but the old school hex style was a little bit too much for me, even if i can understand it has his charm
so i redid the map in two flavors, the first has a more "medieval cartography" look, and the second is a more "realistic" version..
feel free to use one or both of them if you like them..
i redid the .map file too, and i removed a lot of the "guardian" monster of the map, i just let some in the isle of the middle.. i take more pleasure to play this mal like that, but anyway, feel free to change that if you prefer the old version..
any comment/remark/suggestion/criticism is welcome!

Re: Isle of Thrones revamp version
WOW, great first post! I have played on a lot of Ballbarians maps, but this one looks like one I haven't seen. Looks great!
One small problem:
Line #10 says:
#imagefile IsleofThrones_real.tga
and should say:
> #imagefile isleofthrones_real.tga
This only affects the *nix crowd so you are %70 OK

These maps both look great to me! I'll let you know if I ever get a chance to check them out in-game.

Re: Isle of Thrones revamp version
Would it be possible to have the second one (more realistic) but with province borders?
