Last Man Standing End Game discussion
Need a new player for Last man Standing. This is a well developed game that is at an interesting point. 3 main Empires perfectly balanced. 3000 ship fleets and large map with fully developed Empires. About to test 2000 ship clashes(each side). Thousands of units. If any one would care to join or help with Large game management comments and tips it would be welcome.
Situation:
6 Empires are locked in a titanic struggle for the Galaxy. Two large Empires and two smaller Empires have Joined Forces against Aganst a Crystal Empire and another smaller empire. The Crystal Empire's fleets are high quality and the Empire well defended And have about 20% of the map. The other Empires have 80% of the map but only Huge numbers have kept the Crystal Empire at bay. Star systems have been destroyed and rebuild 1000's of ships lost Trillions of beings destroyed. This game looks to continue for awhile. Not for the Faint of heart.

Tempting...
...But I'm trying to stay out of mammoth games with the incredibly tedious micro-management, in favor of small scale games. You know, the kind where a fleet of 50 LC's rule!

Re: Last Man Standing End Game discussion
Hese has kept me updated of what is going on in the game. Unfortunately La'Veins were not strong enough to survive... Unfortunately I can't take free place for I have more than enough work in my current games.
Some tips for managing mammoth games you can find in RTH discussion. At the end, when you do it right, you can lessen your work considerably.
Btw. I wish there comes a victim counter in SEV. I would like to know which quality of mass murd.. eh, conqueror I am (How it was? If you kill one, you are a murderer. If you kill ten, you are mass murderer. If you kill a million, you are a conqueror).

I believe the precise quote, attributed to good ole Joe Stalin was 'To kill one is murder. To kill a million is a statistic.' Lovely chap, him.

So. Good old crystal strikes again.
Didn't you try using null-space weapons. Holy cow.

Null space suck. Yes, they do pass crystal but even so, they are ineffective. To break crystal, you need a one good high damage shot through.

Re: Last Man Standing End Game discussion
Really could use a new player. This is a chance to see end game results and huge fleet battles an answer the question which is the strongest warp point defense or attack. Also I hope that thread can become a good discussion on tip for dealing with huge Empires
