Answers to Lesser horrors...
FarStrike E2S1
TangleVines N1
Entangle N1
EarthGrip
Charge Body (you might want shock resistance for this one).
Magma Bolts F1E1
Cold Blast W2
Incinerate F3
Fireballs F2
Magma Bolts
Arcane Bolt S2
BloodBurst
Swarm
Encase in Ice
Horror Mark, Astral Geysir: I am not sure this works, but I think it does. If your opponent is casting lesser horror at you 2x - horror mark one (no mr)
I have tried to keep these approximately the same level as the originating spell.
Comments welcome.

Re: Answers to Lesser horrors...
You forgot frozen heart which works a treat.
Underwater, encase in icex2, frozen heart, encase in ice, frozen heart script kills lesser horrors/horrors pretty much 100% of the time. Great for when astral corruption is up. Means underwater nations can pretty much keep on forging/spell casting as normal. The only drawback is when a doom horror shows up.
I have been attacked by multiple horrors on a battlefield and accidently horror marked a couple of the horrors, who then amusingly fought each another. Ignoring my troops completely.
A combination of spells to hold horrors in place, with direct damage spells works very well vs horrors.
Also when astral corruption is up returning on any of your S mages outside your capital will keep them safe.
Good list thou.

Horrors tend to be in the middle of your army on merit of their flying, how could evocations start to be effective as a counter?

Defender goes first.
I have ignored spells that do insufficient damage or MR.
The spells I listed 2 castings will kill or one by a mage of sufficiently high level.

Fireballs, etc. will in all probability miss. Lightnings may be better...

Re: Answers to Lesser horrors...
That all depends on how many mages and horrors there are.
One lightning or frozen heart won't kill them, several will.
However several lightning or frozen heart won't kill several horrors since they won't be aiming at the same horror and they have a life drain attack.
I'd say horror mark is the best if multiple horrors are being sent,
however I won't be sending horrors against your large armies with mages, I have something much better planned for that.

Is Cold Blast actually a spell? I don't remember it. Also you have it in there twice.

Cold blast? Sure. It's a short range aoe1 cold bolt type attack. Pretty annoying when a group of random mages default to it blasts your elite guys.
