Hi all:
I recently had a bright idea (or at least I originally thought so)... or using the spell Blink in assassination attempts by R'lyeh's star children... in general, I find that star children to be
very effective, even unequiped... mindbLast rules... but mounted commanders can often get to them before a mindbLast "sticks"...
So I thought... throw a couple mindbLasts then Blink! Throw some more, then blink again!
But it's not happening... I scripted it, but he insists on casting random spells instead of blink...
Why? Is it something about assassinations, because the field of battle is smaller? Is it intentional or a bug?
EDIT: Just tried to have my test assasin cast it when he attacked(not assasinate) a province... and he refused.
Had him scripted as: (Blink) Fire Closest
So this seems like a bug with Blink, or something about scripting I don't understand... I'll do a search about the latter.
EDIT2:
Checked this thread
"Reasons why the computer will not cast the spells you script", but Blink does not seem to apply to any of the reasons. The target is the caster, no gems, fatique is only 10...
