Favorite Game?
Here's a poll for all who've tried out the demos (or full Versions, if you ordered already) of all 4 games of the Thunder Pack: What's your favorite game so far?

Re: Favorite Game?
Just bumping this one to the top of the main board page listings, since I am very curious to know what Shrapnel players think is the best game of the 4, for those of you who have tried out all four. It will help me to measure tastes for possible future products that may be headed to Shrapnel. Please vote, if you can...thanks!

Re: Favorite Game?
I like the space trading game best. Its really funny. But one question: Why do I need several different warships (like destroy AND frigates?) Is there any difference? (except the combat ability)
Second, it would be fine to know the gas usage in advance before making a journey.
Third, it would also be fine to have some game statistics like stock exchange developement, developement of prices during the Last turns etc.
How about having a planet map. Planets could have different positions and then the travel logistic is more important.
Are there any AI-enemy trader in the game?
How about new colonized planets are popping up during the game.
thanks
Klaus

Re: Favorite Game?
1. Yes, they tend to die less easily for the most part, as well as doing more damage.
2. No, there is no enemy trader AI in the game. The galaxy is basically starting anew, so you're the first one to stumble out and try to build a reputation.
All of your suggestions are good ones, and shall be noted.
Thanks for your thoughts!

Re: Favorite Game?
1) Interstellar Trader
2) Overlord
3) Nanotech
4) Domain Wars
I really liked Nanotech, but I am frustrated by running out of cash EVERY game.
Ditto running out of cash on Domain Wars...

Re: Favorite Game?
I like Trader best, but Version 2 IMHO is much better. The interface is friendlier, although cash is easier to get with loteries and special events and all. Pirates are therefore less of a menace.
