Universal Shipyards down?
Greets, all:
I just thought I'd download a few new shipsets today, but I've found that the Universal Shipyards are down (at both the cjb.net and tripod.com domains).
Anyone know what's up?
Much obliged for any info.

Re: Universal Shipyards down?
Hmmm...
Total drag.
Just when I finally got around to start modding SE, too. I spent a few hours Last night adding sounds to the Components file (after using Tampa's Sound Mod as a base, though)... Now I wanted some new ships and races.
Oh well... hopefully it will be back soon!
Thanks for the reply.

Re: Universal Shipyards down?
Seems thaat tripod has gone through a fit of enforcing its user agreements (I guess they don't like artwork). A member of a gaming group I belong to got the boot by them for "Violation of the terms of use agreement"; he had used it as a respository for his gaming artwork.

Re: Universal Shipyards down?
Bummer... I just found this site the other day. Haven't had time to download any of the custom races yet.
Is there any other good sites out there where I can get custom races, besides the Star Wars/Star Trek sites?
Thanks,
Questor

Re: Universal Shipyards down?
Late:
Whoa! Worked like a charm. Hadrian noted that it had been down for a bit, but looks like it's up and rockin' now.
Much obliged for the heads up!
Regards,
Z.

Re: Universal Shipyards down?
Ahem...
Must be all the glue I've been sniffin'...
I mistook "Hyperion Base" for the "Universal Shipyards". Duh... the latter's still down as of Sunday, 3/11/01.
Regards,
Z
