Hey all. I'm the same as many people; I bought SE:V but was unhappy w/ the major bugs and poor AI. I'm just checking in after a couple months to see if mainly the AI has been improved to a reasonable point. Any thoughts?

Stock AI hasn't changed a huge amount, though there are a number of mods out there that have improved the AI. My personal favourite is Kwok's Balance Mod, but I'd recommend tinkering with as many as you can get your mits on.
As of v1.25 most of the really nasty bugs have been ironed out and the game is quite playable. Or not, depending on how much you hate the UI.

There is also an Inter-Relations Mod that has had a fair amount of AI improvement put into it.
