Wow, heaps of new stuff
Just thought I would point out to anyone who hasn't seen it that the progress page has been going crazy the last few days. Exciting stuff, thanks Kristoffer!

Re: Wow, heaps of new stuff
There's a lot of stuff there, all right, and all of it looks very interesting on the basis of the descriptions I've seen. There's also enough that any hopes of a quick DB update are going to be in vain. Not only all the new stuff, but fixes and tweaks to existing things that I'm going to need to hunt down.
I suppose the next DB update will be just adding the new stuff, putting that out as some kind of intermediate one and then going back and combing through the old units.

Re: Wow, heaps of new stuff
While new stuff is nice, I like to see the major bugs (those in red) fixed first.

Re: Wow, heaps of new stuff
So would I, but this patch is pure, 100% Kristoffer's work so far as I know, with Johan K having been on vacation in India. Fixing the red stuff is mostly JK's job since it requires going deep into the code, which Kristoffer can't always do. At least the LA C'tis Tomb Wyrm issue has been corrected and the undead blessing issue has been fixed as well.
With Johan coming back, I expect that we'll soon have a number of the red issues fixed and the next patch after this one should not take as long as this one has.

Re: Wow, heaps of new stuff
JK's trip to India has left him ridden with disease. So he won't be doing any immediate work on anything. Hopefully he will recover soon. In all frankness though there is no reason to believe that he will pick up in tempo on correcting bugs just because Kristoffer has worked a lot during his vacation.

Re: Wow, heaps of new stuff
Bandar Log turned up to be invaded by C'tis, and the miasma took it's toll.
He probably got caught by the monsoons as well.

Re: Wow, heaps of new stuff
Being a van, he is not recuperating. So we can only hope that he finds himself a fairy queen before the year is at an end
