Hey... loaded up my new laptop with all my favorites.

Started playing SEV again... it has almost become a ritual to christen new laptops with a game of SE

Alt-tabbed out at the end of my turn and... the computer locked up BADLY. Apparently, SEV has issues if there is combat.

Any pointers? I tried searching for answers but that failed.

Try running the game in windowed mode. That prevents most of SE5's lockups and crashes.

I have Vista, not Win 7. But SE5 is the only program I've ever run that locked up my computer.

I never had problems running my game on my Vista laptop.
