tilegen & mapgen
Alright. Why is it that I seem totally unable to utilize the tilegen and mapgen? And are there any other modding tools I'm missing out on?

Nevermind. I figured it out. It's late. Brain running without sleep or oxygen.

Although, I still don't seem able to utilize the -width2, -hight2 Tilegen.

Re: tilegen & mapgen
Thanks guys. Turns out I did have it working but didn't know about scrolling. I was expecting the entire tile to be visible.
Thanks.

Looks like you just made a tiny typo in the name, but to make sure you know exactly how to run tilegen with a tile size of 2x2 here is the procedure...
1)Make a shortcut to Dungeon Odyssey and place it on your desktop,.. Rename it to DO-Tilegen or something similar to let you know it will run the tilegen program.
2)Right-click on the shortcut and choose properties,
3) In the 'Target' field add -tilegen -width2 -height2 to the end of the DungOdy.exe ( it should look something like this..
Target ["D:\Dungeon Odyssey\DungOdy.exe" -tilegen -width2 -height2] (without the brackets)
notice the spelling of height2, (not hight2!)
4) when in the tilegen program, use the arrow keys on the keyboard to scroll the map around.
That's it.
Cheers!

Re: tilegen & mapgen
hmm, -tilegen -width2 -h eight2 works well for me.
It is not quite apparent that it did work at first. You only see a 15x15 portion of the combined tile like editing a single one.
Just start doing the tile and you can scroll with the cursor keys.

edit: David beat me to it.
*Rollo gets out the Wand of Slowtyping and zaps David with it .

Re: tilegen & mapgen
you can either use the command line and type:
dungody -tilegen
dungody -mapgen
or
you make a copies of your DO link and change the target to:
"C:\...\Dungeon Odyssey\DungOdy.exe" -mapgen
"C:\...\Dungeon Odyssey\DungOdy.exe" -tilegen
I also have a copy of this to make bigger (2x2)rooms:
"C:\...\Dungeon Odyssey\DungOdy.exe" -tilegen -width2 -height2
