#se4 in Gamesnet is always a great meeting place. You can go to www.gamesnet.net and use their Java Chat applet, no new programs to install necessary. Check out the #se4 IRC web site for further information on connecting.

I think I have the answer for the chat question as well. The gamesnet site Fyron mentioned has a java client I can actually load on the PBW server and run right from the game description on the game info page. You wont have to load any new software, or even remember a new website. Just go to the game page and chat right there.

I'll have to play around with it to make sure it works like I think it does, but if so that should be a big help. Might even add a chat room section to PBW in general. That could be a cool way for people to meet up and get a game started quick.

You could always save your bandwidth and system resources by linking directly to their page with the java chat. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif Either way requires just a single link. Of course, you might be able to change the default channel it loads up when running the java applet, so that would be a benefit of running it off of PBW.

For me to be involved it would have to be in the evening for the Eastern Time zone, USA.

Maybe as early as 8PM, probably more like 9-9:30 for a start. Playing for a couple three hours maybe. The nicest thing about RTC is when someone has to leave we can continue the game regular PBW during the off hours. Then maybe get back together a few days later and burn through a few mroe turns all at once.

If those times aren't good for you, it can be done any time that a bunch of you can coordinate. I just won't be able to participate as a player myself.
