Kind of same than a Pythium/Mictlan alliance ... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

An easy way to get lots of AIs to attack you is to have low province defences. Boosting those up has proven to be a great way to keep most of the AI neutral.

It seems the AI likes to pick on weaker nations, and perhaps includes your province defence values in calculating your "strength."

Probably something inherent in the code. You see the Score Graphs and they calculate your strength by some unknown or hidden measure. Though I've been declared war on by plenty of 'weaker' nations when I was clearly stronger. So there may not be any validity to the claim.

Since I always leave them on for solo play, I don't know if they cheat and peek at them if you disable them. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Most of the time I get this message its from a bordering nation, and is accompanied by one or more acts of aggression on the same turn.

Occasionally though I will get it out of the blue from a Pretender that I havent seen yet.

I would love it if this game had some kind of diplomacy with the AIs.
