Your commanders are clearly becoming entirely too competent... you may have to get rid of some of them and promote inferior ones. :)

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

May I please have a 12h extension? I am travelling for work again, and wish to avoid a repeat of my last experience :-)

Bullock November 13th, 2011 09:12 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Sure it's done.

Groundworm November 14th, 2011 10:10 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

So, wait... Red asked for an extension, but still has his turn in before Pink? How exactly does that work?

Bullock November 14th, 2011 10:30 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Tratorix has the bad habit to wait to be the last to submit his turn =/ it's a bit selfish (a bit ! ;))

Many thanks, much appreciated!

This war of ours is most baffling, I have no idea what is happening (other than that my Zmey are all well fed and happy - Black PD tastes a lot like chicken, only more so).

Bullock November 15th, 2011 05:19 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Yeah i have to feed him if i want him to do some deadly nightmares :)

Groundworm November 15th, 2011 09:46 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

It looks like tratorix staled last turn. Waiting on him for the current turn, everyone else has already submitted theirs.

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Nom nom nom. So many tasty magic items :-)

I'd also like to thank all the thousands of lions who have laid down their lives in support of the Duchy of Red.

jimbojones1971 November 17th, 2011 06:12 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Just watched the battle in Wyndun (#90), Bullock - that was one seriously a55-kicking SC you had there!

I noticed at some point - maybe after he got struck blind - that his morale dropped back down from 99 to 13, but I think he couldn't run away because my second Zmey was in the way?

I was a bit sad that you killed the other Zmey, but at least all the rest of my leaders made it through so hopefully I still have the ability to cause some additional damage before the inevitable!

Bullock November 17th, 2011 09:07 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

No the sleep stuff killed him. Btw i don't get why he has lost his berserk, because he was blind ? Weird.

The final battle is coming !

Bullock November 17th, 2011 09:10 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Also, i have nap 3 with everybody or almost, i'm canceling them all :)

So in 3 turns i'm free of any engagement.

Groundworm November 17th, 2011 06:06 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

I saw that battle too. That was an awesome fight to watch with a truly massive number of casualties. That Zmey was a real trooper!

jimbojones1971 November 19th, 2011 06:12 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

I'm still alive. I am very surprised!

I hope you are not planning to starve me out, Bullock - thanks to the Tuatha, sorceresses I have a negative supply value. I can only assume your guys looked at the fearsome Zmey lurking in the army and quite sensibly decided to flee? :-)

Bullock November 19th, 2011 06:40 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Im not sure i will win this battle if i force now.
So yes i m trying to make you starve and i don't think your sorceresses can feed everybody especially with all those lions ;)

Anyway i still have a plan B ;)

Maybe we are eating the lions? I can summon them as fast as we eat them, you know ....

:D

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Wow, I literally got that turn in by about 2 minutes. Phew!

Urburthe the Zmey (popularly known as the world's second best action hero, after Megethos Wormform) has asked me to write that he is sleeping well, totally untroubled by any Nightmares. In fact, the only problem he really has is that he is getting fat from eating too many Black PD guys.

Bullock, any chance you can get your guys to rub themselves with extra light olive oil and lemon before the next battle? I have heard it has slimming properties, and may help Urburthe overcome his overeating induced weight disorder.

Hey Horrorfend, how's my peace treaty offer looking now? ;)

There is 2 ways for your Zmey to end.
He will explode because of all the stuff he has eaten, or he will vanished ! Ofc there is still a 3rd option, he get killed by my PD :D

Yeah, I tip he is going to choke to death trying to swallow one of your guys without taking the time to chew his good properly. Such is the penalty for gluttony! :-)

Is there a smell of dogpiling ?
I hope you will attack me one by one not all at a time ! :)

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

No piling on the dog from me! In fact, if you want to vacate my country, I will happy return to a state of piece and friendship with your good country. :-)

(I suspect some people interpreted your breaking all NAPs at once as being a declaration of war on the entire world, which is perhaps not quite how you meant it?)

Nice Domkill, Bullock - congrats, and good luck with the rest of game :-)

I very much enjoyed playing with you, and hope to have the opportunity to do so again at some point.

Well played, Jimbo. It was a pleasure to see your Zmey in action... again and again and again. :)

Looking forward to more games with you.

I think you have to send in the file for the turn you're eliminated in. At least; I had to do that for tiny_crowded_world. Next turn he'll be gone. :(

jimbojones1971 November 27th, 2011 07:04 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Sorry guys, I didn't realise that - apologies for the inconvenience.

I will be very interested to hear how this game plays out. The randomness of it was a fun change - I wouldn't do it every game, but I would certainly be keen use the Cataclysm mod again in another game.

Bullock November 30th, 2011 04:09 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Anyone want to trade their W gems for any other kind of gems or crafted stuff ?

Bullock December 1st, 2011 01:21 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

I had to postpone 12h for myself.

tratorix December 8th, 2011 01:55 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Might need this turn postponed for a bit, as the llamaserver doesn't seem to be sending me my turn, even when I manually request a resend.

Bullock December 8th, 2011 05:22 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

weird, did u try to contact llama?
Otherwise you can send me an other mail to switch.

Edit: w ell i have the same problem, but the server isnt refreshing actually, so maybe i (we) will get the turn later

dojango December 8th, 2011 03:32 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Past two turns it hasn't sent the file to me automatically, but it did send it no problem when I requested a resend. So others are having this issue as well?

tratorix December 8th, 2011 05:47 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

The llamaserver finally spit my turn out this morning, so i'm good to go.

Groundworm December 8th, 2011 06:12 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

I've been having the same issue as Dojango, where I've had to manually request a resend for the past 2 turns. Been getting the turn with the request, though, so I haven't had any issues.

Well, other than Black's ettins. They're a major issue, but of a different sort. :)

Groundworm December 11th, 2011 04:53 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Sorry, bit of a long, ranty post- I'm very upset with myself over my terrible play, and this game has been a constant source of frustration to me.

I've beaten Black's armies and whittled his army size graph to next to nothing. I've killed large numbers of SCs, captured several artifacts, decimated his gem production, trashed his income, taken a decent amount of his territory, and contested his ability to wage war. All the while my income and gem production have grown and my territory has remained almost untouched by the war.

And yet, I'm still completely unable to defeat him. His (many) remaining SCs and raiders are still out taking back provinces that I capture- again and again. I can't catch his raiders to kill them, and when I do, they more often kill my forces. I've lost several battles and lost force cohesion in his territory. This turn, for the first turn in awhile, he actually managed to take back more territory than he lost.

I'm entirely unsure how I managed to do so well against you overall, Bullock, considering that I clearly have no idea what I'm doing. How am I supposed to beat your Zmeys and Ettins and Grendelkin and everything else? The only successful tactic I've used is Mind Hunting all of Black's raiders, at the cost of many many many astral pearls, and that's not cutting it.

Bullock December 11th, 2011 08:57 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Well actually you are kinda harsh with yourself.
First you are actually winning, which isn't that bad :)
and then i think it's harder to finish a guy because of his remaining raiders, like me with red and his early Zmeies i couldn't defeat.

When i proposed you peace i was expecting a better situation for me now than i'm actually.
Anyway as you said you have totally screwed my incomes so it will become easier and easier for you. But as i said our war has stand too long for the survivor to face properly pink after.

Btw even losing i m having much fun in this game :)

dojango December 11th, 2011 01:59 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

yeah, part of the joy in losing is spitting in the winner's eye as you go down... trying to inflict as much damage on the victor as possible.

If you've taken his homelands, you could go for the domkill, also teleport/cloudtrapeze SC killers on his raiding SCs once you've seen their equipment and tactics (teleport/cloud trapeze goes before regular movement)

Groundworm December 15th, 2011 06:35 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Probably going to need a 24h extension on this turn.

Bullock December 15th, 2011 06:56 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

sure, it's done.

Bullock December 17th, 2011 10:39 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Was wondering if some people would be interested in a break between the 24th Dec and the 2nd of January ? if so i'm planning to set a 8days length turn during this period but quickhost still on (so the game isn't stuck if everyone can finally play)

Unless we declare pink winner before that =p

tratorix December 17th, 2011 07:13 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

I don't think I'll need a pause for the holidays, but if you and Groundworm want one I don't mind.

Also, Groundworm, exactly how many astral pearls did you put into that stellar focus? The minimum 30 definitely wouldn't have dispelled my Well of Misery.

Groundworm December 18th, 2011 06:05 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

I don't need a pause for the holidays, but if you'd like to do that, Bullock, then I have no objection. I'll take turns as and when they come.

You're correct, tratorix. I had previously tried to cast Earth Blood Deep Well with somewhat more than the minimum number of earth gems required, and it failed. So this time, when I cast Stellar Focus, it was with significantly more than the minimum required. I need me having more gems, and you having fewer!

Besides, your well had made the world a miserable enough place already. :)

Bullock December 18th, 2011 07:40 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Alright ! In fact i will prolly able to play so ... and i don't have much left to command anyway :)

Groundworm December 19th, 2011 06:23 PM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

Apologies for missing last turn's deadline without notice, and thanks for the extension. I was hoping to take my turn at work last night, but then got crazy busy.

If I could have another 6 hour extension, I should be able to take my turn tonight. Sorry again for the delay.

Groundworm December 21st, 2011 05:01 AM

Re: Tiny Cataclysm - Running

This entire week has been unexpectedly and extremely busy for me. I should be able to get my turn in today, but if not then certainly tomorrow.
