!! Notice of Absence !!

As previously indicated, I will not have access to a computer starting 12pm CDT Saturday Sept. 4th through around 6pm CDT Monday September 6th as I am going camping over the Labor Day weekend.

Additionally, I am noticing that it is taking a really long time to get diplomacy responses done within the turn time frames and I would like to request that the turns be permanently extended to either 36 or 48 hours.

Thank you,

~ Verjigorm

Hi guys !

1 - can I have an extension for the next turn ? (scheduled 14h55 GMT, +6 hours would be great for I am not at home this evening and I may be short of time tomorrow morning)

2 - I can sub you for the admin if you want. But the simpler the better : just extend the turn to Saturday ;)

I had hoped to avoid that, since Grijalva won't be able to play a turn before leaving if hosting is delayed too much. Still, if you need 6 more hours, you need 6 more hours, n'est ce pas?

I added 6 hours right now, and I'll PM you the password. If Grijalva manages to play the next turn before leaving, then we extend the two weekend turns with 24 hours, if he doesn't then I guess we all have a weekend without homework. ;)

am I going somewhere? I don't think so....at least not that I'm aware of...

I guess you were talking about Verigorm?

Indded I was. (Where's that blush smiley when you need it)

But hey, at least I got it right in my first post about the subject, right? :)

Note to self: Taking old mages into enemy territory with heavy death dominion in winter is a bad idea. :(

I actually forgot that. Really need to stack up some playing time again.

Lanka seeks Earth gems or hammers, and has a surplus of Death gems for trade.

Ha, I recruited an old-age mage just as that "old-age affliction" turn in winter hits: He had great picks, but started with disease AND...mute!

Is it possible to move to 36h or 48h schedule?
I feel a necessity for that due to RL reasons. :o

Well, I think Don Pablo and Verjigorm's requests make sense, maybe it is time to extend a little bit the turns' delay...

I was about to ask how people felt about it after this leasurely weekend. :)

Since there's two people who requested it already I will indeed change it to 48h.

Also: Damn! I submitted an updated turn just after hosting. Couldn't you stay camping 10 minutes longer Verjiform? ;) Hope it doesn't cost me. I'm off to look at my turn.

They requested 36h, so can't it be 36h? :)
