Nicely detailed. I like the 'glow' of the lit portions. Slightly 'cartoonish' but I guess that goes with strong colors. It gets boring if all ships are bare metal or battleship grey or Federation flat white.

Why are you doing this? I mean what for? No one will download the set if they already have it. Although they do look a hell of a lot better than the old set.

Hmm, I don't know, although I do like the overall look and all of the new pandoran ship, the old ones still look much better IMHO. I don't think the Pandoran needs updating; It's pretty close to perfection as it is.

One race that really should get a lifting is the "Nloam". They use saucer-like ships and i really like that race. Maybe you can redo them, or make a new roughly based upon the saucerthingy ? The update is to make the models much cleaner looking, and to add new "life" to there appearance.

Overall the texture that I first used was great, but now I simply just cannot get it too look good. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

The new set does not look as ominus as the old set, but loosing that dark feel is something that I can live with as a trade for a higher quality look.

I just tried to download your EDF shipset from NASY, but got a URL not found error.

EDIT: Same thing just happened with the Starwolf.
