Planetary Conditions \"Deadly\" ...What To Do?

I'm at war with the entire galaxy. Even though I'm running a Level 2 Intelligence Defense and making targeted intelligence sabotage, my planets keep getting bombed or poisoned or whatever and the Conditions become "Deadly". Is there anything I can do to reverse these planetary conditions? TIA.

Build climate improvement plants. Or whatever the facilities that Planet Utilization 1-3 allow. Build as many as you think you can afford. After they are completed, they will -slowly- improve until they get to optimal.

Thanks. I assume you mean "Climate Control Facility" and NOT "Value Improvement Plant" ?

Re: Planetary Conditions \"Deadly\" ...What To Do?

There are only two types of structures, IIRC, which can improve planetary conditions -- the Climate Control Facility (Planet Utilization 1-3, prereq: Planetary Engineering, IIRC) and the Nature Shrine (Religious Tech 1-3, system-wide, needs to be a Deeply Religious race 'natch). Both work extremely slowly -- something like 1-3% a _year_, tops, IIRC.

Therefore, you'd probably want to simultaneously hit back. Intel-wise, if you have the points (unlikely given that they're hitting you via intel), you may want to chance a few Communications Mimic ops, in order to get the AIs to declare war on each other and hopefully focus less single-mindedly on you. With luck, they're putting too many points into offense and not enough into defense so your Mimics may work.

The other bit would be finding those obnoxious intelligence centers (or their spaceports; no spaceport => no production if it's not the home system, and penalty if it is, IIRC, if they don't have the right racial trait) and bLasting them into oblivion. Or drop plague bombs, which will cause 'em to riot until cured (or dead). Either way, you need to reduce their intel production while building up yours and trying to stem the damage, because there's no fast way to improve planetary conditions.
