GebaltenGranate?

dear fellow gamers

i'm not into fiddling about with language details, but
the famous german makeshift A/Tk device made up of several
hand grenades bundled together was actually known as
"Geballte Ladung", which roughly translates
as 'concentrated charge', whereas the demo/satchel charge
used by assault pioneers would translate as "Sprengladung".

no big deal but as a native speaker of german, i couldn't
resist this one...

cheers and thanks for all the amazing work

German OOB. Weapon # 84---Geballte Ladung

Weapon 229 "GebaltenGranate" is something a little less potent

Ahhhhhh ! Wait. I think I see what you mean now !

GebaltenGranate" should be changed to "Geballte Ladung" and what we have now for "Geballte Ladung" should be "Sprengladung".

??

hi don

yes, that's what i tried to say in a quite complicated way... if any help concerning translations will ever be needed,
i'd be glad to help you out. the german language surely is one of the oddest around, especially regarding military terms.

cheers

All Engineers in Czechoslovakia OOB have "Geballte Ladung". Maybe Germany supplied CZ army?

I renamed it in modified czechoslovak spob to "satchel charge". Anyway czechoslovak army used many equipment of old austro-hungarian origin.
