Bug Helmut\' Sappers

Helmut built a fortified city all on his own. He did not use any of my money to do it. However he destroyed the Jotunheim (128) city in doing this. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/mad.gif

what i have seen happen, is that if you hire a merc away from an AI (could be a player, if there were ever a player so stupid), the merc will keep his current orders - which, in this case, was probably "build fortification" - and you get a fort for free. or the money for it, if you cancel the orders... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Yes, I did just hire him away from someone the turn before and did not move him because I was planning to bring him in behind my troops.

There's a second bug reported in there, though, namely that you can "overwrite" a fort before tearing the old one down.

I did check the short list but was looking for errors concerning Helmut's Sappers. The short list is rather daunting. |
