I'm pretty sure that Joe doesn't make the decisions when it comes to the marketing of the game. That's up to the Shrapnel Grand Poo-Bahs. Personally, I have to fall back on what other gaming...

I always play on hard level. Haven't messed around with the custom settings too much, since hard gives me just the right kind of challenge. I leave Doppler Off (more annoying than anything else)...

I agree that these options should be "optional". It only makes for a better game, since you can make the game personalized to how you want to play. I never have the doppler effects on, nor the grid...
